HP Insight Dynamics - VSE in the Oracle Grid environment: An HP Reference Architecture white paper

This document is an extension to the Dynamic provisioning model for an Oracle Grid on HP BladeSystem white paper and describes additional management capabilities recently made available with the release of Insight Dynamics - VSE Suite for ProLiant from HP. The integration of HP Adaptive Infrastructure and Oracle Grid technologies has been validated in the HP Solution Alliances Engineering labs and is documented in a series of HP Reference Architectures for Oracle white papers. This paper highlights the design and implementation of a modular HP infrastructure specifically optimized for Oracle Grid and dynamic resource provisioning.
This model provides yet another example of how you can use HP tools to maximize the return on your hardware and software investment. HP continues to work closely with partners such as Oracle to provide leading-edge technologies that enable next-generation IT infrastructures today.
The Reference Architecture as described in this paper applies to the management of Oracle Grid on Microsoft Windows and Linux operating system environments.
